Recording your cleaning work
[Your company name] is part of a program that records real cleaning work on video. AI and robot teams use the video to learn how cleaning is done. You wear your phone on a headband, and it films your hands and the job in front of you.
What we record
- Your hands. Keep your whole palm and all your fingers in view.
- Your tools, like a rag, mop, brush or vacuum.
- The spot you are cleaning, from start to finish.
What we don't record
- Offices, desks and papers.
- Computer screens and phones.
- Other people. Pause if someone walks in.
- Restrooms when anyone else is inside.
- Any room the building asked us to skip.
How to wear the phone
- The phone sits at your forehead, above your eyes.
- Tip it down so it sees both hands.
- Make the headband snug. Shake your head a little. The phone should not wobble.
Before you press record
- Phone charged.
- Lens wiped clean.
- Room on the phone for your shift.
- Mount tight and tipped down.
- You can see your own hands in the view.
- The room has good light.
- Everyone in the video has said yes.
Good video
- Clean things that need it. Don't wipe a clean spot over and over.
- Work at your normal speed. Nobody times you.
- When you change jobs, switch the task in the app.
When to stop
- The phone slips or the view looks wrong: pause, fix it and check again.
- Someone walks in, or you see something private: pause and tell [Your name] that shift.
- The upload fails: save the error and tell [Your name].
You can say no
Recording is your choice. You can say no, and you can stop any time. The video is about the work. It is not a test of you.
