A small company that grew up in building services and now pays for cleaning video.
Colby AI, Inc. is a small company with roots in building services. We pay cleaning companies $10 to $15 for each accepted hour of video of real cleaning work. You can call us at (480) 542-7526 or sign up at colby.ing.
Where we come from
In our own words: "We got our beginnings in building services and strive to help companies like the ones we grew up inside." We know what a night shift in an office park looks like, and how much one building account can matter to a small crew.
Our mission is to secure the health of human spaces. We are members of ISSA and BSCAI. We have also run a webinar with Elite BSC.
Why we pay for cleaning video
AI and robot teams need to see how people really clean. A camera on a wall can't show that well. A phone worn on your cleaner's forehead shows their hands, the rag, the spray bottle and the surface in front of them.
That view is hard to get. So we pay for it. You get $10 to $15 for each hour of video our team checks and accepts. The exact rate is agreed in writing.
What we do not ask of you
We do not tell you how to clean. You and your crew know that job better than we do. We ask your crew to do the work they already do, at a normal pace, with a phone on a headband.

What other owners ask
Are you a cleaning company?
No. We don't bid on or take cleaning accounts. We pay cleaning companies for video of the work they already do.
Do I have to sign anything to talk to you?
No. The form on colby.ing only asks us to call. You sign the agreement later, and only if you want to join.
Where do you work?
In the U.S. only. When you sign up, we ask for the state where your cleaners work and a U.S. phone number.
